Sivan holds a BA with High Honors in Jazz Performance from the Newpark Music Centre (Dublin, Ireland) and is a graduate from the prestigious Rimon School of Music in Israel in jazz performance.
In Dublin, she quickly gained a high reputation after forming The Sivan Arbel Septet and performing her own original compositions and arrangements in venues across the city. She gained publicity after being interviewed by several radio stations such as NewsTalk, and taking part in musical projects in the Dublin music scene.
